sebae and ocellaris

so, i have been watching my sebae anemone and clown for quite a few days they do this odd dance where the clown hovers near the anemone during lights on, but wont touch it, but when the lights go out he seems very concerned of the anemone and, for a lack of a better word, cuddles up into it, especially if the anemone deflates itself.

i read an article about how clowns can help with anemone breathing at night as there is no photosynthesis going on. i am just at a loss as to what to think about the clowns behavior. he acts like the anemone is its host yet during the day wont touch it, but seems overly concerned and loving to it at night.

he used to use the powerhead as its host but recently switched to sleeping in the anemone which only confuses me as to why it avoids touching it during the day. ive had the anemone for about eight or nine months and the clown for about five or so, and the clown is still pretty small, only about 1-1 1/2 inches long.

thoughts??
