Sebae Anemones Help

Does anybody have any advice on how to get Sebaes to stay some place? They are sand-bearing anemones right? I bury the foot up against a rock and they attach to the rock under the sand but come loose after a while. They are very healthy anemones with lone tentacles. Any ideas? I do have another small sebae attacked out of the sand to a rock about 1/3 of the way up the tank. What do I do with the other 2 big ones? :strooper:

110w Florescent. Sebaes do extremely well in my tank so I'm not worried about lighting too much.

How long have you had the oldest Sebae?

I've had the oldest sebae for... IDK... maybe 6 months? When I got him he was bleached but now he is a light brown which is the typical color for sebaes. The oldest one if the small one that I was talking about. My question was for the 2 new ones. And my tank is the 34g Red Sea Max.

110w of flouresnt lighting isnt good enough for Sebae IMO.

IMO too, that isn't enough light for a Sebea, and that sized tank isn't big enough for one, let alone two. I had one many many years ago, and it took up about 1/3 of my 75.

IME they are SO much easier to care for than BTA or LTA!

I agree not enough lighting by far. Success with a Sebae is measured in years not six months. Why not upgrade your lighting?:sad1:

Foremost like everyone says is stronger lighting. Next is water motion. Mine was doing great in sand in old tank and then I upgraded and placed it in a similar position as yours but the water current was beating directly towards it which it must not like. So of course it moved where the current makes the tentacles sway away/stretch away from the oral disc just as it did in the old tank.

It's tough to keep params stable in that size tank enough for a sensitive nem, and I agree, one sebae will way outgrow that tank, and soon.
One sebae and one LTA became too big for my 90g.
And the only time I see sebaes up high on rocks are when they are reaching for more light.
