Sebae gone

In Memoriam
So I added a sebae on Saturday and it wasn't attaching to anything and I haven't seen it for 24hrs now. Should i look under all my rockwork or just leave him be? If its dead will it have any harmful effects from toxins in my tank. Its 165g volume.
Thanks,

Luke

Depending on size of nem, but yeah, a decent spike could occur, although in a 165g it would be somewhat dilluted.
I'd test 4 amonia right away, and do heavy WC's if you see ANY amonia.
It shouldn't be hiding.
What do you have for light/flow?

I have around 4100gph flow and 250w 20k mh's and overdriven 4x48" IC t5's as well. I tried to get him to attach to anything for a couple days but it wouldn't. I wonder if they tore his foot before i bought him and he was hurt. I doubt i ever buy an anem thats not attached again.

No amm yet, i checked last night but will again today. Thanks Dav. They don't release any toxins that will kill my fish do they?

Your light is plenty, and no amo is good, he could still be alive in there somewhere.
I can't remember hearing about any toxins killing fish, mainly amo spikes and funky cloudy water.
He could have a torn foot, or just trying to acclimate.
I'd look real good for him.
In placing nems, (my sebae and LTA) I put at bottom w/sand scooped a bit, and between rocks, basically a little nook.
That way it can back in or out for more/less light or flow.
Also, moderate flow, not blasting it.
Tents should move gently.
Good luck.

Well, i searched everywhere last night, he's no where to be found. And neither is my cleaner wrasse of a long time.......All parameters are pristine. Not sure whats going on with it. Anyhow at this point I'll just wait and see. Thanks Dave
