sebae not eating?

i have a tonga seabe hosted by a gold striped maroon clown. i have had the nem in for about 2 months. he doesnt take to diced shrimp. question is that i do see my clown spitting formula 1 flakes at the nem. i know clowns will feed most nems but should i worry about my nem not taking sliced shrimp or will my clown take care of the nem? thanks for any help.

Are you trying small (pencil eraser) sizes of shrimp? You might try shooting some mysis at it also. If it still won't take food, I would try cyclopeeze.

I doubt that what the clown is feeding it would be enough to sustain it for very long. It helps, but just not enough.
