Sebae under pc

I have a 20 gallon at work with a brown purple tipped sebae and a couple of clowns. The person I bought it from said with the lighhting I have (2 65 wattpcs) I would be o.k. with this anemone. Reading on the web I am hearing differently. Any opinions?

You should be fine with that lighting in a smaller tank. It also seems that you have found a previously healthy specimen, which goes a long way in success. However, you should feed the anemone well with meaty, fish-based foods (especially for this species) at least 3 times a week. Silversides work well for me. Also be aware that a healthy sebae will easily outgrow a tank of that size in a very short period of time.

Amphiprion is right on all 3 counts. My Sebae grew very very fast and is now taking up a lot of room in my 72g tank.

Yeah, I'm stressing on my 2 nems at 16" each in my 90.
Both under PC's
I've had em for 4 years and just can't get rid of them.
Guess it's time to go big!
Better get off this site and make some $$

We've had one for about 15 months now, and it was about baseball size (and about that color too!), now it's about dinner plate size!
Bigger tank may require higher lighting, so be prepared for that. Ours is in a 30 gal, we're almost done setting up for a 75, which a lot of the livestock in the the 30 will go into, but not the nem, it's staying right where it is with the clowns! Right now, only about 1/2 of our tank is usable for other things, like coral because the nem can reach almost 1/2 way across. It's beautiful!! Our sebae seems to really like the MH lighting and we only feed occassionally (once a week or so, sometimes less).
Have fun and good luck!
