After finding rotiffers anf phito I collected abaut 50 fries from my occelaris pair. None of them could swim good enought and died in 2 days.
I asked here for help: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1854508
So I covered tank laterals, reduced the amount of light, I hatched eggs in the larval tang (I put the eggs the night of the hatch in another tank) and increased food of the parents.
I had 30 fries until day 5. All of htem had fat belies
At day 6 I still had 20 of them and I decided to start feeding artemia so I feed lighter on rotiffers and introduced artemia.
What happened?? Well, at night, after work, I returned home and the fries were starving (not fat belies any more) and the following morning I had only 5 left.
What should I do? Feed rotifers longer? Strat feeding crushed flakes instead of artemia?
I will buy otohine but it will take a lot to came here and my third batch will hatch on sunday/monday...
Regards,
Julio
