Second fish to copperband

A little back story...

Classic college gypsy here. I was moving to my new apartment and that day it was 100 degrees, It took about 3 hours to load all of the buckets etc and when I got there my fish were cooked and corals hurting. I had 5 green chromis, blue tang (awesome specimen), 2 false percula, b&w false percula, starry blenny (rip little buddy), royal gram and green spot mandarin.

Life goes on. So the tank has been moved and I added a copper band butterfly fish. So here he is king of the tank:

My tank is 60 gallons (48 x 18 x 15), bare bottom and stock full of tube worms, bristle worms and sea spiders.

What fish should I add? Preferably larger fish, and possible algae grazers...

That tank is really not big enough for large fish like tangs or rabbits that might eat algae.

You could do a pair of centropyge angels. They're colorful and most will graze algae. Some blennies do, too - Starry blenny and tailspot blenny just to mention two. Lawnmower blennies are herbivores, too, but the other two will eat other things as well, so you don't have to worry about them starving once the algae is gone.

The pair of dwarf angels from Robin is a good idea. Having the CB as the first fish is a good move. These guys simply don't do well with aggressive, or even 'hyper" fish. They like things quiet. If you stick to passive fish that are appropriate size for your tank, the CB should be fine---they can be tough fish to keep. Just a heads-up on the clowns you lost; juvi clowns will live together without problems. But as soon as they mature and form a bonded pair, they won't tolerate any other fish in the tank. A pair of fairy of flasher wrasse may do well; but I just don't do well at picking out other peoples fish.

So dwarf angels are considered calm then?

I would stay away from the argi complex, which can be quite feisty (especially given their small size), but other than that, most centropyge are only aggressive toward other angels. They shouldn't give your butterfly a hard time.
