Second Half Plus 6 Days

The second half of my package has been in for a week now.

First off the rock is awesome, as are all the critters.

I absolutely love the condy, what a beautiful creature. For some reason, I really like the cukes too...just think they look neat I guess.

Unfortunately, I did get a mantis this round...or else I discovered it finally. About 1.5 incher, I am working on its removal.

Seen a few very small gorilla crabs, and what looks like a couple of the red ridged clinging crabs(mithrax). In fact, looks like one of them may be carrying eggs...there are pin point size red balls under its tail.

Got another Christmas tree worm, makes a total of 3 in my tank.

Also received 3 light bulb anemone on the second half, all three side by side.

Thank you Richard and all at TBS. Great businessman, great customer service...and he cracks me up.

cool, post some pics! My condy is all over the tank! she stayed about a week in one spot, and then tonight, I go look at the tank, and she moved to the other side...I went to my LFS yesterday and saw some live rock for 6.99 lb. It was like mountain stones,,no color, no life, dead serious, it was like rocks in saltwater...even my mom is blown away how much more beautiful our TBS is :-)...

Are you keeping the mantis after you catch it? If not, I've been looking for a small one and I'd be willing to pay for you to ship it to me...

NoobieNemo...I have been taking pix all week, will get some up.

The 2nd day my condy moved about 6 inches toward the back of the tank...hid out under some rock for a couple days. But the last few days, it is staying right about where I put it in the tank. Which is very cool, because it is right in the front. Arms just a waving. I consider this a good thing, hopefully meaning it is happy. :)

How long should I wait to feed, if I should feed it at all? I am not getting any fish for quite some time, so there will be no leftovers.

ReneX...as of right now I plan on keeping the mantis, but I will keep you in mind.

Pistol Shrimp. I think I scared them(there were two) out from under my prefilter sponge. When I installed it after cleaning they were snapping away and swimming around before settling in the corner of the tank, long enough for me to get a "shot". :)

I thought this was really cool. One of my snails had an extremely tiny anemone(or some type of filter feeder) attached to the edge of its shell(right side in image), several pods as well. I could not get a good image, but on the top of the shell was a bb sized snail and a chiton hitching a ride.

Limpet right? This guy was in the first half and has been all over the tank. The snails and him have recently cleaned inside the prefilter and the exit flow on the remora skimmer.

I am amazed by the cleaning job of the snails, the algae was getting really bad prior to adding the clean-up crew. After one week the glass is spotless...hope they don't starve now.

I forgot to mention I saw a Medusa worm(the body) when I first put the package in, it dropped down out of one of the rocks. Of course it immediately buried itself in a new spot, I still see the tentacles daily. Very creepy looking thing.
