Securing eggcrate baffles

How can I secure them to the sump? I tried rubber grommets; didn't work.

Is weather stripping worth a shot?

Just as a divider, I don't need glass baffles.

One side is smooth; I can use silicone there - but the other side is jagged because I cut the eggcrate down the middle of the cell.

you could always cut those down as close as possible then lightly sand smooth. Ive used a sharp utility knive and had great results.

get some 1/4 or thicker scrap glass from your local glass shop and make little channels for the baffles to slide into. Since they are not load bearing you should be good.
