So when your ears hurt. You know when to pick up the phone? And 40 yr olds can't hear it?

So basically when you see a whole bunch of young people covering their ears and bending over in the fetal position, you know your phone is ringing. .

Which is exactly why I don't understand it.

If you don't know the history, it started in the UK (I believe) as a way for store owners to keep annoying teenagers out of their store. They'd play that as background noise is the shops!!!

So if it is so bothersome to them, why the heck would they want it as a ringtone?!?!?!

Kids want it as a ring tone so they can send and receive text messages in class with out the teacher hearing it. I'd probably just put my phone on vibrate though.....
