I know this isn't an answer to your question, but I will say that i was just very impressed with BIO-Spira from instant ocean. I had an outbreak of ich in my 220G DT and just put all my fish through the TTM to get rid of it. Last week Wednesday half of the fish finished the TTM and I added them to a 55G and a 20G quarantine tank. It was new water and new media in the HOB filters on both tanks. I added a bottle of BIO-Spira to the tanks at the same time I added the fish. The 250ml bottle says it's good for up to 75G, so I added 66ml to the 20G tank and the rest to the 55G. On Saturday the rest of my fish finished their TTM course and I added them to the same 55G and 20G tanks as the other fish. Both tanks are probably a bit overstocked at this point, but it's all I have. In any case, it's now been 5 days since the first fish were added and ammonia levels are still barely detectable (under .25ppm). I'll keep closely monitoring ammonia, but so far it seems like the BIO-Spira did quite well, even with the heavy stocking level.
