Seeking Flow suggestions for 38G

Hey there all,

Would like some suggestions on how to set up flow on a approx. 38 gal "cube" 20"x20"x25" SPS dominated. I'm open to the idea of giong BB.

Options are:

A CL with a SCWD running around 900gph

Pair of Seio's (or MJ-modded) in the back and left corners pointed towards center front.

Maybe even a single Tunze stream or a controller.

Anything else you can come up with.

This is the smallest Reef I have ever run, to be quite honest, it seems easier to set up a huge 200+ tank. Your throughts would be appreciated.

On my 30 cube I plan on running a scwd CL with a mag 9.5...1" bulkhead feeding the mag out to 3/4" to scwd out to two 1/2" bulkheads with loc-line fitings. I want and plan on the head loss, I have the mag and will use it this way till it dies. I will probably replace it with a eheim 1260 a oceansmotions later.

I will use a small eheim for a return.

I'm going BB.

IMHO, go with a CL, forget about any powerheads inside the display.

My cube will have a center overflow(with one 1/2" bulkhead, top center for return), two 1/2" bulkheads on either side with loc-line fittings and a 1" buckhead behind the rockwork(to feed the CL)and thats it!

Go with a oceansmotions(like a swid but better) and a Eheim 1262 for your 38 SPS and drill it for a CL.

I have 2 seio 620's, one in the back of each corner pointing to the front center on a 37gal AGA. I like it.
