Seems like they paired! Now what

So i have a 2" true perc and yesterday i introduced a tiny mate at around 3/4" ... he is really tiny. all it took was a few minutes of bullying from the large one and now they are as happy as can be hosting the same frogspawn, swimming togetheer and rubbing each other. So what's the next step and what should i look for when they breed? Is the tiny one even sexually mature at such small size?

Its going to take a while for them to have fertile eggs, but don't be surprised to find some eggs at some point, but the 3/4 one is to small yet to fertilize the eggs. JM2c

All you can do at this point is take very good care of them. Give them plenty of room, don't house them with more aggressive fish, and feed them good nutritious food every day. Maybe twice a day. Before you know it, they'll be popping out little ones like clock work.

Give it a few months. I bought two 1 inchers and had a few yr old female.
took about 4 months until the first spawn, but the female was ready for quite a while.
