Does anyone use a SEIO super flow that also has an anemone? I am trying to determine if there is any way to protect the SEIO intake from a wandering anemone.
My anemone is well settled (hasn't moved in weeks), BUT he had received some tentacle damage weeks ago, when wandering, by getting partially caught in a power sweep rotating mechanism (had the sponge filter on, which didn't help protect him from the rotating head). The RBTA tentacles have grown back and he is fine. Since he seemed to wander at night, I put the power sweep on my light timer so it went off at night. Was really ticked off that I didn't see the power sweep as a possible threat.
SO I'm thinking of getting a SEIO but am interested in knowing, before hand, if there is any threat to a moving anemone (in case he decides later to move) or if there is a way to mitigate the threat.
