Seio`s Multicontroller

I look for it on Marine Depot daily and have yet to see anything even advertising it. I take it they are not accepting preorders as they were with the Icecap Vortech pumps. With as much anticipation as it sounds like this is creating, one would think that more information would be available, especially this close to launch (as we have been told).

Is it just me or does TAAM not seem to be BIG on marketing?

Still looking forward to this option.

There's an ad in the June/July 2006 issue of Coral. To my disappointment, the ad states the controller is for models M1100, M1500 and M2600. I guess I'll have to upgrade my SEIOs to reap any benefits.

well this controller just keeps getting worse and worse
then don't buy it-- the free market in action

I called MD yesterday and they dont have any idea on the release yet. TAAM stopped replying to my email. I keep bugging them every week.

Have we even gotten an official MSRP?

Earlier in the thread I might have missed it, getting confused w/ price guesses for their new super-flow PH.

Those new Tunze nano-streams seem like a better deal now more than ever...if you dont want to use their multicontroller, you can use the AC ones on a regular wavemaker at least...and they are cheaper (and loolk like they mount on the glass better).

actually there's a hitch with the new nano streams. I was thinking they were a better option until Roger in the tunze forum specified that they really arent recommended for a standard wavemaker or an aquacontroller. He said the minimum interval time would have to be 5mins with 15mins being the recommended interval. Don't get much benefit out of that and the controllable one is waaayy too expensive.

Many people have invested so much money in Tunze that it appears to be like the car situation - the more money you invest the more likely you are to promote it (like the 'you have to have MH to be successfull'...). Or any other product people spend a lot of money on.

I bet you can't find many Land Rover owners who claim their car is reliable. :D

O.K., I'll bite. 2003 Land Rover Freelander SE3: 45,000 miles and the only dealer service I've had done is the oil changes (synthetic oil and 9K miles in between visits). Actually, the dealer did have to change the airflow sensor, but it's still under warranty and didn't cost a dime. :D

That's a malfunctioning British vehicle if I ever heard of one!! 45,000 and no flames!? I'm disappointed. :)

As for on-topic. I, too, was looking forward to trying this out, but I only have 620's and only would really consider going up to an 820.
