Seio`s Multicontroller

I just want some actual new info on it...i'll wait for the next batch or whenever they are more prvolent. The last new info we got on it was back 6 months ago or something.

Oof, this is ridiculous. In the UK, Europe, the Seio controller is more expensive thean the Tunze single ocntroller it's equivalent to, if you add a branch adaptor to the Tunze.

Tunze single controller £36.49
Seio controller - £82.

And I bet I can get a cheaper deal on the Tunze than that by looking in germany.
The powerheads are barely cheaper than Tunze's too on a litre per euro basis

Marine Depot just emailed me they do not have it.

How much they going for?

I've been using my system for so long without a controller, I think I'll wait until they are really out and tested by final users and when I can read anywhere exactly what they are capable of achieving.

That may be true in europe, but its not in the USA. We're paying about 4 times as much for a tunze vs a seio.

A Tunze single controller is about 60$ in the US.

Too bad a tunze controller won't work on a seio. A tunze pump is a touch more expensive than a seio.

Right, but a tunze pump is $300+, whereas a seio is under $100.

Right, but we only saw the price in Europe, lets see what it is here first. I doubt its going to be as high as in europe.

They do not have them and said they did not have a list price yet.

I thought several people said MD did have them. I wish we could get a story straight.

this falls in line with the rest of this thread, lots of promises, little real info.

I spoke with Premium Aquatics this morning. The controllers were in stock, but have since sold out. I was quoted a price of $139.95. The rep stated they received less than 10% of what they ordered. So, I guess the wait continues.
