Seios and restarting problems

I feel that I have read threads about restarting problems with the Seio but my search doesn't turn up anything.Can someone chime in on this subject please.

Hey I had 2 seio's in my 75g controlled by an aquacontroller and had them shut off every night at midnight and back on at 6am for over a year and never had problem. But the problem is that you can't have them controlled on and off like a wavemaker. Hope this helps.

Yes, that is what I thought. Thanks. I already own a Seio and would be handy if I could use a wavemaker. However, this particularly Seio can't be used. To buy the wavemaker and pumps made by Rio(Seios, at least two) is a major investment for my 40 gallon cube. Since this thread has already been started, I would like to hear from others on solving flow problems in a nano. My objective is to grow SPS.
