Has anyone else ever taken a snail from one tank to put into another tank and it climbs into the new tank before it finishes acclimating? I moved one of my astrea snails from a ten gallon to my thirty gallon using a plastic container. I left the container on top of the thirty gallon's glass top with it partly open so I could acclimate the snail to his new tank by adding water every ten minutes or so with a dispensing syringe. Ten minutes later though I turn around to put more water in the container and the snail is currently going down front of the aquarium happily scraping the glass. Acclimation apparently was not approved by the snail, he's actually doubled in size now a year later. This same snail is bad about knocking powerheads loose so that they fly around the tank...
