Reef Octopus XS 160 skimmer $200 OBO

90g all glass tank with stand, canopy, and 4 t5 lights with ballast and reflectors. $450. All other equipment has already been sold. I am willing to sell some corals or even frag some. They are all listed in my sig.

PM me or text me at 907-3727 if interested.

I have several reasons why. I did not want to purchase more corals and fish for the 150 gallon and since I already like the fish and corals I have I transferred them all to it from the 90. I also want to purchase the Savage .338 Lapua and selling the extra tank and equipment will help me do that. Everything but the tank was sold 24 hours after I posted on CL.

I will take 180 for the skimmer if picked up locally. 200 if I have to pay for shipping.

BTW: Has anyone else noticed how crappy this site has become? You're lucky if you can connect to the web page 50% of the time. I am going to cancel my subscription. The money obviously isn't going into the servers or anything that makes this site reliable.

I so want that skimmer for my new tank. someone needs to buy some corals from me so that i can get it. lol :)

Thanks Ntvper!

I don't shoot in competitions but I do love to go out and practice Billy. I currently own a Glock 22 (.40cal) and a Bushmaster AR-15. I was originally going to buy the Bushmaster BA-50 but they want 4k for it. I think a .50 BMG is a bit too much anyway. The thing weighs 30+ pounds. The .338 is one size under and is half the weight.

Let me know when you want to go Billy. I am always up for going to the shooting range.

I'd love some of the zoas... really any/all of what you got. I have very little room left in my current tank, so they would have to be small frags...

And since we're OT now...

Anyone here know a board member at Zia? been trying to get a straight answer and no luck for months. I was a member, membership lapsed while I was out of town, and now I don't see how I can rejoin?

I used to shoot informal competitions with Henry pocock at the city range, and did a few shoots at Zia on the military line. I shoot a bare bones Colt H-bar AR-15, but never really got too into the competition shooting. I picked up a DPMS LR308 a few months ago and haven't even put a single round through it yet :\ My gun collection is almost as big as my coral collection :p S&W Highway Patrolman .357, Glock 35 .40, Walther p22 22lr, Calico m950 9mm luger, Colt 3rd gen Dragoon (a real one) ball and cap, Panther Arms LR308, Colt AR-15, Rem 700 PSS in .308, rem 870 12ga...

Been wanting a barret for a while, but $10k for the rifle, scope, loading equipment, and brass.... probably not gonna happen soon. Plus there's nowhere within an hour of Albuquerque where I can legally shoot it anyways. Probably just put a better scope on the 700, or build a .300wsm for long range tack driving.

If anyone here shoots at Zia and would want the hassle of bringing a guest... I have a pile of old keys and membership cards, so you know... I wouldn't look like I didn't belong there :p

What's zia? My friend was telling he knows someone that is part of this club were you pay a yearly membership and you can go out to their range by Montessa (the area Hard Rock Pavillion is at). Is that what Zia is? I guess it is invite only and you have to know someone who is already in.

That is a sweet collection Greysoul. I want to start building up my collection too. You can get a Barret for cheaper. I have seen them for 8k. If you want something for long range look into the .338 lapua. It was developed specifically for long range shooting. It is said to be more accurate than the 50 BMG round, especially if you get a magnum match grade round.

Zia Rifle and Pistol Club is out on Mesa del Sol, south west of the airport. It's private club, about $150/year and you get 24/7 access with a gate key. It's a GREAT range. They have a 600 yard military pit for high power rifles, a 500 meter silhouette range, a 200 yard bench rest range, 2 100 yard private berms, a 100 yard wind tunnel, a 25-30 yard plinking range (only range you can fire class 3 weapons on), a trap/skeet range with launchers and rabbit launchers (like shooting pigeons, but they roll on the ground and are called rabbits), range house for youth shooting events (indoor 22 / air rifle range)... they require an NRA membership too, so if you're not in the NRA that's an extra $35/yr or something.

It's a great club and I've met a lot of great people there. They hold TONS of ranked and informal shooting competitions there from PALMA and IPSC, to F-class and 3-gun tact, western shooting, cast bullet competitions, family fun shoots...

BUT... and this is what sucks....

membership is closed, seemingly indefinitely, pending some internal politics. I wish someone would tel me what was going on and if there's any hope of them re-opening... but right now it looks like the club is probably going to close or something. I know a couple years ago the city and land developers out there wanted to close it for the Mesa Del Sol subdivision project... so I dunno, maybe the club is folding. I hope not. I just wish they would answer their emails.

The other private range is Big Horn, out in Edgewood. It's not a bad range, but it's ghe-het-to compared to Zia, and it's about an hour drive to get there.

Neither range allows .50 BMG, belted magnum, or "other destructive device" class 3 weapon use, either. The NRA Whittington center, and the range in Taos are ok for BMG... 1000+ yard safe ranges there.

Also... something about fish and/or corals and probably SW aquariums.

SO you have that 150 filled up huh? just curious how it looks nowadays.. What lighting did you end up doing over it?

When is the frag swap?

I am currently using t5's for the 150 but yesterday I bought the Ecotech LED's for my 36g tank. Which means I am selling a 36" Wavepoint T5 setup. It has 4 lights and is 2 months old.
