Selling/trading Vortech MP10ES

Used under a year, have original box. Was non-ES but upgraded driver.

Looking for 170$ or trading for decent, smaller skimmer and light setup for a 24" tank.

If nobody is interested I'll prolly put it on craigslist.

I'm not looking to buy but I was wondering what your impressions were of the pump; when you added the mp10 to your tank were the new flow patterns worth the price tag?

Yes it is worth it. I have an MP40wES and this MP10ES and they are to die for. I hate to sell it, but my nano doesn't have a skimmer or decent lights but it does have an MP10... so I feel it is going to waste really.

The MP10 is more trouble free compared to my MP40, it never needs cleaned much or re-aligned. The flow is awesome but the MP10 truly shines in 20+ tanks or tanks that dont have LPS - mainly because the flow is so intense that i could foresee hurting the corals at 50%. To have it under 20% is a waste of a vortech in my opinion and that is what mine is set at.

love mine. and got it quite cheap from my LFS. If my one skimmer doesn't get sold would you be interested in a trade for Eshopps PSK 75? I don't need it anymore cause its complete overkill for a ten gallon

I may be in the market. what type of lights were you looking for the nano- have a dual 24 inch T5 that was used over my sons 34 cube - he keeps sayign he want so set it back up - but he is too lazy and I wont help him again. Also - have a Tunze nano HOB skimmer as well. Does you Nano has a sump or not?

My nano has a sump but it only has a 1-2" clearance above the sump's rim unfortunately. i was just looking for a skimmer to run in the display (hang in tank or hang on back).

For lights I'm looking for 24" t5 or 70w/150w ish halide stuff

I'm going to entertain other offers for a few days, cash, skimmers, or lights.

I might be interested in some longer 36 - 48" t5 setups, smaller bubblemagus skimmers, or a 50gallon rubbermaid stock tank as well. Would prefer the cash over others though.

We could also do some trade and some cash....I know the skimmer is really good for a nano - but not worth much without a pump.

Anybody know if my AC# can control this MP10es??
