Also if you could PM me if you know anyone A. that knows someone who actually works for schuran ( ive tried all companies here that sell their items and I cant get the piece I need . ) or B. one of your friends at tunze in germany to stop by their booth and sock em in the nose for me .

The only info I have on Schuran is the web address. The owner is Herman Schuran, I would try calling them in Germany or writing a letter (7-10 days by mail) or send a fax. www.schuran.com

The smaller ones are supposed to be out around the last week of Sept, the big ones, the last week of October.

what is the smaller one rated for????

The 9420 is rated for up to 528 gallons.

Yes, they use a needlewheel. It is needlewheel design we are producing our selves and the result is 800l/h of air with only 23w of power consumption. Basically we get about 25% more air using half the power of the competition.

Wow awesome needlewheel pump, sounds incredibly efficient, and it looks compact; silencer is nice feature. This could be the new standard in German-made high-quality needlewheel pumps. Will the pumps w/ needlewheel be offered seperately for DIYers? Have prices been set yet?

The skimmers are taller than 22". They are in sump only and that will pose some problems, the auto adjust design doesn't lend itself to external use. The main problem I see is they are really wide, the smallest one will need a sump of almost 20" across.

The needlewheel pump will be sold seperately for approx $270.
