Sergeant Major

I have a sergeant major that is swimming back and forth and rubbing his body and head on a shell thats at the bottom. He keeps doing this. Is this normal?

Do you see any white spots on him?

No he seems clean of ich.. But it doesn't mean its not in the early stages. How can I stop it in it's tracks right now before it does get out of hand.

electro shock therapy always seems to do the trick. j/k

Have you checked your water quality? Especially the PH and ALK. I have found on many occasions that these can really bother fish if not at the right levels.
