i dont see any aggression in mine at all....it actually comes and eats outa my hand if i hold a piece of shrimp in the tank as do alot of my fish....

i know some damsels are known to be mean...domino and 3 stripes and so on.....but like i said no aggression as of yet.....

mine is maybe 3/4 of an inch right now.....justa baby...ive seen 1 pic of an adult and they seem to retain their striping and thats the one reason i bought him....

They are called sergeant majors for a reason...when it gets bigger it will probably terrorize your other tank inhabitants. They are cool fish and you see them frequently down here -- they will sometimes even nip at divers that enter their territory.

They get big (about 6" long) and very aggressive. I've been attacked by them while snorkeling back home in Florida. But it's not aggression towards humans you have to worry about; it's the fact that he'll grow up to attack (and even kill) your other fish. I'd return him. He won't stay little and cute and peaceful for long.

That fish will be a holy terror. Sorry. When nesting, they will attack divers (been there, done that)
