serial cable for ACjr

i relized i did not buy a serial cable when i bought my ACjr and wanted to know if this cable would work. http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=62698 or any other of these mac cables?

No, that cable will not work, as it has a DB25 connector, and the internal connections are not correct. You will not be able to find general purpose cable that is wired correctly. See http://www.neptunesys.com/hardwareFAQ.htm#CABLE for the required connections in the serial cable.

i ordered the one from neptune but i do not have a db9 serial connector in my computer. i have a DB15 and a DB25 can i just get a DB9 to db25 cable?

It sounds like you need a USB to serial converter. I personally use an iogear.com converter w/ my laptop and it works well. The DB15 and DB25 connectors are your vga port, and parallel port respectively, and will not work w/ the AquaController.
