Serious Problems once converted to fowlr

i had a reef tank up and running for some time in a 110gal bowfront. Anyways in the beginning of last summer, i wanted to move the sump from directly under the tank and run it down to the basement. Shortly After finishing the job, I had a temp spike and i lost all my fish.. except my clowns cuz they're beasts. Decided at that point to go with a fowlr. I converted it by taking out all the rock and corals and some sand and rearranged everything. I took out the metal halides and was left with 2 t5's. anyways waited about 3 months with no fish in the tank.. i just wanted it to restabilize. Finally I added an emperor angelfish, bicolor angelfish, 2 black percula clowns, sand sifting goby and a coris wrasse (Not all at the same time, but in that order). Added a new cleanup crew. The first wierd thing was when I added 12 turbo snails... they alllllllllllll died and i got really mad. Then the coris wrasse went first. for some reason. Then the bicolor angel stopped eating and died. Now my goby is not looking so hot and he's hanging out at the bottom. and more finally, it seems a bunch of hermits died too..... ***. What can possibly be wrong with my tank!!!!!! water perams are 0 nitrates phosphates. 1.024 salinity, 83 temp... might be a bit high. But besides that... what else can i do?!

havn't checked ammonia. the wierd thing is, it looks like the rock are actually dead... i failed to mention that. I just dont see any coraline or any growth on them whatsoever.. and i feel like the two t5s aren't that powerful to encourage growth.

2 T5 should be plenty. I had a FOWLR 55g with a Standard single T8 bulb and had coraline all over. I had that tank set up for several years that way with no issue.

If you had 12 snails die in your tank you probably have a water quality issue from that unless you removed them immediately. Also sounds like you have a fairly high number of fish in a tank of that size.
