I got a setosa frag a few months ago and it was doing great. Then all of a sudden is started losing tissue. It's not in a very high flow area but gets plenty of light.
All parameters in check with esv and dosing pump. But I havent looked for any pests as I was very careful and dipped before putting them into the tank. I'll do that in the next couple of days
I had a rbta brush up against it for a few days before it moved. Also, there is a duncan near by but I have never seen the tentacles reach the setosa. Maybe it was the rbta?
Most likely it was the rbta. It only needs 10 seconds to touch it to do some damage. I set up a separate 24 gallon nano just for my rbta and now 6 years later I've got over 8 clones.
