Im going to be setting up a 210 and will be using either the barracuda or hammerhead pump. I will use it to feed my skimmer and for the close loop. I would like to see some of your cloose loop systems.

I have a 220 gallon with a closed loop. I use a Hammerhead to run it. If I may offer a few suggestions. Go with a Dart and an Ocean Motions device. The Dart is silent and the Hammerhead isnt. With the Dart/OM combo you will get as much flow with random flow compaired to the Hammerhead. Dont skimp in drains, you may get some gunk on the strainer(s) and choke them.
I have (2) 1.5" drains into the Hammerhead and (3) 1" outputs into the tank with loc line flow accelerators. I dont have any pics of my closed loop system from the back, just the front.

If you are gonna feed your skimmer as well then it will no longer be a closed loop, unless your skimmer is in your tank.

I use to run Hammerhead/OM4way/12-loclines on my 210 but just recently switched over to SuperDart/2 x Wavyseas/4-locline. I don't have a picture of the entire plumbing for both but I do have a FTS where you can see the tank outlet if you want me to post.

thanks for the input. I was planning on using the four in the tank as drains, and running the return up the outside on the back of the tank to go over the top and then to each corner. On the return I would place a T and run that to the skimmer. Is this a good idea?
