setting up a chart

I have been trying to set up a chart to track my water parameters. I am not able to build an excel spread sheet as I have never done it before. I was woundering is anyone has a template I can use.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I also know that there are programs but think that excel is fine for tracking the changes and would like to see how stable my system has been.

AquaLog is a free program and very easy to use. It will not only track your water parameters, but will remind you to do other things such as water changes, dosing carbon.......etc.
