I'm didn't bring this up out of ignorance, I myself was a victim of the bio-ball craze of the 90's. Thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread until my nitrates grew to 100+. Luckily it was a fowlr at the time. Believe me when I say they will cause problems down the road. Those who's bio-ball systems don't have nitrate issues are too new. It's over time the problems arrise.

What is the recommended schedule for bio-ball replacement with live rock? Obviously if you do it all at once the LR won't yet have the nitrifying bacteria, leading to an ammonia buildup.

Looking great! Question, did you special order the AGA with corner overflows? They usually come with the overflows on the back wall. I personally think the corner overflows are better, allows for more space to aquascape.

The tank is actually a Perfecto Corner Flo tank... The sump that I have is the AGA product. I agree - the corner overflows are much better in my opinion...

Ahh, gotcha. Perfecto makes good tanks. I'm doing a 180 upgrade myself and am looking into the AGA tanks. Probably go with the corner overflows if I do it.

FWIW you might want to order the AGA with corner overflows WELL in advance. I tried to order the corner overflows for my 120 several weeks (~ 6 if I remember) before we had to move summer before last. I had to finally go with the Megaflows because the custom tank kept getting delayed.
