setting up new tank need sand oppinoins

sugar fine or regular? how much for a 90 gallon? all live or live/ regular mix??

I have southdown sugar fine deep sand bed just seeded with other tanks, just a few cups of live sand, seems good so far. You should consider the cutting board stuff, and bare bottom, though. There is great debate on this suject, it seems to me either way would be okay you just have to design the pros and cons into you equipment and maint.
