setting up new tank

I just moved my reef tank from my 110g to a 125g.

I was planning to sell the 110g, but before I got it sold, my wife & I decided to set it up as an aggressive FOWLR.

I'll be setting it (back) up later in the week and starting the cycle.

In the meantime, I'm thinking through fish list. I know that I'm going to have the following....

SFE
Picasso Trigger

I was talking to my LFS today, and he suggested the following to go with those....

panther grouper
porcupine puffer

Any thoughts?

Angler or a frog fish ;) I love Triggers also...Picasso Trigger is a good choice IMO. Really just to many to name.. So many pretty fish that are only good for FO systems..

What kind of porcupine fish? I would stay away from most of them anyway. They get very large and VERY AGGRESSIVE. They will way too large for your tank. There are some regular puffers that may be ok.

I agree with Joe. Butterflys and Angels that you can't have with coral would be beautiful in a FO tank.

Thanks for all the replies. I've decided that now is not the time to set up another tank, so I'll be selling my 110g with stand and canopy and my 75g

The 125g reef is enough upkeep for now.... :D
