Setting up radion xr30 pro with rms

just got the lights and rms brackets. Few questions

I have 3/8 inch rimless glass. I took out the spacer and pretty much tightened it almost all the way. I didn't go overboard. It has the slightest hint of give. Is this normal and correct? Obviously I don't want to over tighten and break anything.

Next where the heck does everyone put the white boxes. Those things are massive. Sit them behind the tank? Mount on wall or inside the stand? Between my sump and top off bucket Id rather not take up more room in the stand. Id rather place them outside the stand.

Any knowledge on the above would be appreciated.

I just have mine sitting behind the stand/tank. As far as the mount, couldn't tell you. I've never used one.

I placed mine inside the stand away form any chance on water getting to it.
You don't want to over tighten the nut. It should feel secure. There is a small rubber piece that goes over the exposed screw. So the the threads don't get messed up.

Thanks. Think I got it. Programming it took forever. My computer isn't very good so had some trouble. Now to get the phone app to work. Lol
