Setup for 110 gal Oceanic

Hi Roger
What kind of a stream setup would you recommend for a 110 gal (60ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚x18ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚x24ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ high Oceanic). Would one 6000 work? Is two better? If I go with one 6000 can I also use the new Multi controller 7095 so I can add a second 6000 in the future? I am about to place an order and want to get it right. Note that I also have my return at one end with about 800 gal per hour.

You could start with one and yes you can use the 7095. Please be aware their will be a wait of up to 8 weeks for these items because we are way behind, I hope it will be less but I would rather give a worse case scenario- been getting yelled at alot lately for things beyond my control. The Stream 6000 covers a 4ft by 2 by 2 area so I think you will ultimately need a second one but the 6100 will be too much.

That's the exact tank I've got. I ran a single 6000 for a couple of months, but it didn't take too long for me to upgrade to a multicontroller and second 6000. I'm actually planning on adding a third at some point.

Thanks for the info. Like I said I do have a constant 800 gph coming from the other end of the tank, from my sump return. I hope that, along with up to the 1800+/- gph of the 6000 would be a good start. and when the money :) is there I would add the second one.
