Setup, possible stock list and some corals

Setting up a SCA 80 in a month or so and the anticipation is killing me this will be my first SW aquarium and I want to do it right.

So far I have purchased:
-GHL MITRAS LX 6200
-BRS dual chamber carbon/GFO reactor
-Vertex Cerebra

Yet to Purchase:
-SCA 80PNP
-2ea Cobalt Aquatics Neotherm 150
-Maxspect GYRE 130
-Caribsea life rock
-Caribsea Ocean Direct original grade sand
-Biopure in sump and some Cheto

-Flame Angel
-Cardinalfish
-Maybe a Wrasse*
-Maybe a Basslet*

-Sexy Shrimp
-Cleaner Shrimp

-Arrow Crab
-Scarlett crabs
-PomPom Crab
-Snails unsure on Variety yet
-Fighting Conch

Now corals.. I need something that is hard for my wife to kill when I'm out of town was thinking.

-Mushroom varietys
-Birdsnest
-Doughnut
-Hammer
-Brain
-Some Gorgonians
-Pulsing Xenia's

Pulsing Xenias multiply all over the tank trying to take over. Unless you find a blue one (very pretty) and isolate it to one rock that is placed away from anything else, don't get one.

Flame Angels aren't guaranteed reef safe so you should test it in a quarantine tank or take your chance as some reefers are lucky. Another more dependable candidate could be a Pygmy Angel. Others will have to add their 2 cents worth to help you out on dwarf angels - the more info the better.

Also maybe a flaming prawn goby or two, beautiful fish.

Stock List
-Pair of clowns unsure yet on variety---consider tank size: percs or ocellaris only in an 80
- 3ea Blue/Green Chromis ok, but qt these carefully and separate from others: they're tending to come in with uronema
-Flame Angel---may eat corals; not all will, but many will.
-Cardinalfish
-Maybe a Wrasse* avoid the 6-line. Leopard would be nice
-Maybe a Basslet*: royal gramma or chalk bass fine
-Starfish---only the brown/grey serpent star. Starfish are not for our tanks, especially a new one.
-Sexy Shrimp Real tiny: almost invisible in an 80.
-Cleaner Shrimp not needed, and can be a pest to fish.
-Tuxedo Urchin
-Maxima Clam
-Arrow Crab: eats your bristleworms, which you need---the worms, not the crab.
-Scarlett crabs: bluelegs also ok
-PomPom Crab: wait as with fighting conch: depends on particulate in water.
-Snails unsure on Variety yet: cerith
-Fighting Conch: not in a new tank. Wait 6 months. 1 per 50 gallon.

Now corals.. I need something that is hard for my wife to kill when I'm out of town was thinking.

-Mushroom varietys: aggressive softie, take over rockwork.
-Birdsnest: a stony, requires calcium supplement, easy, but not to mix with softies.
-Doughnut: same as birdsnest
-Hammer: same as birdsnest
-Brain: same as birdsnest
-Some Gorgonians: later.
-Pulsing Xenia's: will take over all your rock and glass. Skip these in a stony reef.

Calcium supplement: put Mrs. Wages' Pickling Lime in your autotopoff reservoir, lid and forget it until it needs a water refill. Works like a charm. My sig line has good parameters for stony corals.
They are dependent on good lighting: LED or T5 or MH.

Had already planned to do kalkwasser in my ATO once I had some corals.
