Sexing Flame Angels

Males usually have more than 4 bars I believe and the also have more blue and pointed fins. While females have a max of 4 bars usually 3 and have less blue and dull fins.

Heres a pic of one of RCT Hawaii flame angel pair. Male on the Right.

I've never heard or seen the bars have anything to do with it, but the pointedness of the fins definitely seems to be a male/female thing.
 
That photo is a textbook pair. Males are typically bigger, have more pointed fins and tend to be a little bit brighter.
