Here is a coral that I purchased that came from the Solomon Islands.

Ok I did some investigating on my own. Here is what I came up with. I think it is Acropora Maryae.

or perhaps it is nothing special and it is a. granulosa, but this is definately not the tyree pm.

I've seen a ton of these come in, and they look like A. Rosaria. Maryae is similar too, but if you look at the distribution on Coral Search, it only comes from the Red Sea. Nice piece regardless.

That corals is awsome!! You said you just got it? I would guess it would look unbelievable once it colors up!!

Heres and ice blue one i got to color up. It likes the 400watt 10k's
The blue is getting darker by the day.

You'll like your new acro. Kinda strange growth, but cool.
I just got a purple one like yours we'll see how that colors up as well.
