Sexy Shrimp

Long time reader, first time poster.

Have a good deal of expirence in the hobby but not so much on the exotic invert side.

Im interested in making a 1 gallon pico setup, and was considering a pair of sexy shrimp, unfortunatly i cant find much information on the little guys other than coloration and and size. Can anyone give me a rundown on them and their compatibility for my next tank?

Sexy shrimp are by far the best marine aquarium animals ever.
Interesting.
Cute.
Small carbon footprint.
Adaptable.
Beautiful.
Hardy.
Compatible with most anything.

Oh thank you so much. All my fears of poor stocking are put to rest.

One last thing. Are they scavengers? Or feed them small amounts of mysis? Cyclopsises? excuse my terrible spelling.

Lol, they are usually scavengers, but in a large aquarium (i'd say around 20 gallons +) they should be fed every now and then.

I have two in my 46 gallon, and they weren't getting enough food, so they fed off my frogspawn's tentacles, luckily it's a large piece so it didn't do too much damage.
I found that making a feeder helps-adding in mysid shrimp every couple of days.
