Jon... thank you. You were a lifesaver along with frank for the tables and chairs. I owe ya big time! And jeff ate 4-5 plates with 4-5 tacos each plate. I think he won...I only had 4...cause I only had time for 4... otherwise I woulda dome more

My boyfriend had 8 but he restrained himself even though he wanted more.

I just wanted to say a couple of things -

First, I'm really sorry that we cut in line (via Brent) when it was time to eat. I hadn't eaten much that day and by the time we got there I was starting to get woozy. We waited outside most of the time for the food to start and then wound up at the back of the line because everyone came out from inside and started lining up from there. At that point I was not doing well at all... so I went inside to give the $20 to Brent (since I knew we had taken two spots that could have gone to someone else) and then leave to go get food somewhere because I didn't think I could wait the line out. I'm not kidding that I was probably within minutes of just passing out in the parking lot. Brent said no way, don't leave, and got us right to the food. So, apologies to the people who were in line in front of us and second, big thanks to Brent for saving me. He seriously was a lifesaver and if anyone thinks we cut, I hope that explains it and I'm really sorry.

Second, I won really big in the raffle, so major thanks to the people who donated the prizes. I won the dartboard in the door prize (green ticket) and the RO/DI system (I didn't have one, I have been buying all my water from SPS) and one of the AquaMaxx skimmers. I just set the skimmer up tonight and I think I'm going to love it; I have a RO 110-INT and it's never done well, I'm constantly raising it, lowering it, tweaking it, etc. The AquaMaxx has a smaller footprint (which I needed with a 20L sump) and is much quieter. It already seems better without the massive bubble burps in the skimmer body. So I'm really happy about that.

The only coral I picked up was a pink alveopora that looks like little pink flowers you'd see on a VW Bug. It's doing great so far (and thanks Dave/o2manyfish for answering all my questions and handling the sale).

Other than the almost crashing to the pavement from hunger (and coming home to a crashing QT that killed everything by morning), we had a great time. Thanks to everybody who put the event together, your hard work was appreciated and hope to see everyone again soon!
