I am interested in plumbing a seahorse tank into my current system and wanted run some idea's by everyone. Currently I Run a 75 gallon reef tank with 2 1 inch overflows into a 33 gallon long sump with MR2 Skimmer and CR1 calcium reactor.
I have 2 30 gallon oceanic cubes. I was going to plumb one in as a refugium and the other as a seahorse tank.
I wondered if I could just use one of the 30 gallon cubes by taking one of the overflows and allowing gravity to feed the 30 then an overflow into the sump.
In this tank is where I could put the seahorses. Would I be able to use this as a DSB refugium with algae at the same time or are there things that could be harmful to the seahorses in the refugium?
