OH LAWDY :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

Royal gramma's are one of my favourites!! How do you find them having such a large group living together? Any aggression issues or anything like that?? I'm assuming you added them all at the same time as well.

Tank is looking stunning Revilo :D

In the wild, they live in large groups so I wanted to imitate that. I will add about 5 more but once I am certain my tank can take the load. I haven't seen any aggression among them.

I been feeding them fish eggs, mysis, and pods. So far, it has kept them all fed and less aggressive towards each other. I am pretty sure I will see a fight later for dominance but it will subside once the winner is crowned.

Yes, I added them all at once.

Thanks!

Update:

I ordered the incorrect size of Reef Brites XHO fixtures(36") to go inside of my Giesemann Matrixx II. Because I opened the packages to inspect the lights for damage and missing parts, I can't return them back to the retailer. I now have a pending order for the correct fixture length needed for the inside which will have to be the 30" fixture. I have to sell the old lights and wait for my new ones to arrive next week for installation.

Update:

-The correct size ReefBrites shipped today and should arrive Wednesday in which I will install once I get home from work.
-My tank has become an ULNS due to my Marinepure Blocks and oversized skimmer. I can not keep nitrates and phosphates in the tank. I had algae everyone but it has since cleared out. My corals (mainly sps) have bleached out a little but hopefully they will recover just fine with the additional feedings I have been giving the tank due to the addition of the Royal Grammas. I am contemplating adding (5) Helfrichi Firefish to the tank and (1) Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse to bring an explosion of purplish colors.
-In the meantime, here is a quick, new video of me feeding the tank just now. Be sure to watch in 1080p:

Very cool, I think this is the first tank I've seen with a group of Royal's and they all look to be doing very well. Tank and scaping is top notch too.

Love the royal grammas. Never thought of them as a fish to keep in a harem... I may have to copy your idea in my 36" by 24" by 12" tank... currently I have load and need to increase it a bit. How many you think would be ok in a tank that size with one or two other fish? 8 or 10 roughly?

Cool build!
Following.
I've never seen a group of royal grammas either..
Curious to see how they do together..

Same here which is why I wanted to attempt such a build. I figured that it shouldn't be much different from when I had a mix species Anthias tank a few years back. Thanks!

Thanks! Sure go ahead. The amount highly depends on your filtration capabilities. I currently have 7 with 2 yellow tangs and I am pretty sure my filtration can sustain with 4-5 more.

Thanks for viewing and following. I will try to keep the updates about the Royal Grammas strictly with videos because I think it will be a better way to follow their progress better than a motionless image. Look out for more videos soon.

I ditched the Hydra52s and got an 8 bulb sunpower and suppliments it with 2 24" reefbrite xho actinics, o love it and wish I would have just done this along time ago instead of hopping on the led band wagon.

I hope it will be a successful bandwagon though, no more replacing expiring bulbs, save electricity on running and heating. What's not to like?
