shallow tank?

I've been interested in replaceing my 46 gallon bow front with a traditional tank, but was interested in a shallow tank. From what I can find they seem to be breeder tanks, Does anyone know if there is a company out there that sells shallow tanks, other than breeder tanks?

The problem with shallow tanks is, that if you’re going to have LPS, SPS (your signature suggest that you have some sort of coral) you don't have much room for them to grow up; you don't want your corals sticking out the top of the water. Usually a deeper tank is a wiser choice.

What's wrong with a breeder tank? What exactly are you looking for?

The lights I have are for a 36" wide tank, and I really dont want to upgrade to different, or bigger lights. This leaves me with a limited number of tanks. I like the depth 18", and gives me plenty of room for rocks. As far as corals, mostly zoo's, and some LPS, nothing really tall etc.

they even have coral tanks that have a big footprint and are shallow if yours interested in something like that

I have a 96x48x16 Shallow Reef and I love it
