Thought I'd share the pics of one of my recent batches of erectus seahorses. This one is about 3 months old and recently started to take on the coloring of a local famous orca, Shamu!
I watched a pod of transients when i was 17 giving diving tours, fell in love and dedicated my life to cetaceans, got the name in college, I got a masters in marine mammalogy and worked for a stranding network in the caribbean for years.
I have one male horse that looks like that. He is mostly yellow with dark patches over his eyes and the tip of his snout. Also he has dark splocthes on his body and an all dark tail. The spots are even on his pouch and I used to think he had something wrong with him or that it was cyno.
Anyway if Shamu turns out to be a female maybe we should get these two together.
