Hey guys
Just looking see what people have done with a 10 gallon nano set up. Feel free to share your current or past photos of your set up on any 10 gallon mixed reef or fowler system. I know it's not a hot topic but just want people to share their photos and success with a 10 gallon nano, being that it's not as easy as a larger system. Hoping to be picture heavy thread.

Post How long you have been in the hobby

Thanks I'll start first

I'm isaac, I've been in the hobby for a few years I've only ever had 10 gallon nano fowler tank and looking to go mixed reef with my new 40 breeder build I'm planning.

My current set up has only been up since May 1st. I've had this same 10 gallon for the past 6 years actually but took it down when I joined the Air Force. After a long transition back to civilian life I finally decided to put it back up. I don't unfortunately have any pictures of when I first started which is a bummer cuz I loved that set up, however it wasn't up that long due to me joining the military.
There's a little background about myself and this hobby.

My current tank inhabitants are
1 Osc. Clown
4 nassarious snails (love them)
1 emerald crab (returned him to lfs cuz my tank was too new, but got him back the other day cuz he's my favorite lol) I just feed him Nori now so he doesn't try harming my clown. He's really gappy.
Looking to add maybe 1 or 2 more fish and that's all until I set up my 40 breeder.
Will any type of Goby do ok in a 10 gallon?

Sumpless with an RW-8 (lowest setting)
HOB Filter
12 lbs of dry rock 1 lb of live rock with coraline algea
Cobalt neo therm 100 watt heater
Simple 6000k full spectrum T5 (will be upgrading to a Par 38 bulb before I add corals)
Does anybody suggest a great Par 38 bulb?

Anyways sorry for the long post just want to reintroduce myself here and share my current set up. And sorry for the long rambling.

Feel free to make your post short and simple.
Thanks
Isaac

Hey my name is Chad. I am new to the hobby and have only had my 10 gallon setup since March 2015. I have been through trial and error with fish and coral. I am finally at a point now where I have a very stable system. Unfortunately being new to the hobby I added a lot of stuff fast. I find out fast that this hobby is for patient people only lol.
I am running a hob filter with only live rock in it. About 2 lbs. I have 11 more lbs of live rock in the tank. I have a cobalt heater. And I run a RW-4 pump on the lowest wave setting. Any higher and I feel like my coals blow all over the place.
I recently started running a BRS reactor with GFO and carbon mix. Is not the prettiest setup but it works great. I am also running a kessil a160 currently at 20% intensity. I try to increase the intensity 5% every other week. Getting great growth and response from corals.
I have lots of zoas and a few palys.
I have a branching hammer
A green tree leather. Or something like that lol
A GSP rock which I'm dying to frag
And I recently added a torch coral which is amazing.
I have one fire fish who has been in the tank since the beginning
I do weekly water changes every sunday. I have never missed one. I do 20% every time also.
I want to add more fish but I am afraid to mess with something that is working so well. Eventually I want to upgrade to a 40 gallon or so cube tank. But for now I am learning to respect the hobby and I want to learn as much as possible before upgrading.
I don't run a sump or skimmer. I feel like being a crazy water change guy has kept my parameters in check. Even my nitrates are below 10 ppm.
I will try to get some pics up since my phone is being difficult. Feel free to ask any questions and also give any suggestions!
