I'm still confused about how to set it. Haha

Just moved from T5HO about 2 weeks ago and I think some are doing great and some are no so great.

Does anyone have a suggestion/graph on how to slowly acclimate a mixed reef tank 38g about 20" deep and single radion ~8" from surface?

I just picked up some G2's and was wondering how to find out what the spectrums are in the preset templates, such as; Shallow Reef, Deep Reef, Radiant Color, etc...?

I created my own scheme at 45% with a blue ramp-up to 20K for a few hours then 2 hours at 14K then back down to 20k for a few more before gradually fading off into the blues. And then I noticed it looked similar in shape and dimensions of the Deep Reef template.

Does anyone know how or where to get the dimensions of the templates? I have an SPS tank and historically like a 20K (RadiUm) look but still want a smooth ramp-up/down.

the Radium MH program is 100/100/38/18/38 for your color settings*left to right starting with the 420,

This is from glen, I asked about the same thing.

Just got my two radion pros and I really love them. I use the high growth program at 30% for my 600 litres sps/lps tank and the corals really like it :)

I have ran mine at 85% percent for the last month, with no bleaching although some of my Sps started to seem more green than colorful as before.

Today I dropped down to 45%

I have heard multiple people say that there is about a 30% error when using a par meter for led. So with that into consideration and dropping the fixture to 9 " instead of 15" my par just under the water pretty much matches my radium lunemarc that is in the other half of the 180.

I will give this a month to ser what happens

Jfuka- have you got pros? Also, were they the same as the Radion metal halides at 45 or 85%? How many watts were the metal halides? Curious because I used to have 250w metal halides with Lumenarcs and it'd be awesome to know how they balance out in terms of PAR. Thanks!

I have gen2, I have a 250 lumenarc radium on magnetic ballast on the other half.
Your last question is hard to answer, the numbers seem close at 45% although the look of 20k on radion appears to be a lot bluer than the radium. I think vissually the 12-14k setting better matches the radium bulb

That's great- thanks for the info. 45% power equaling a 250w metal halide under a Lumenarc reflector is some serious oomph.
