Sharing my DIY First Refugium

Hello everyone this is my first post on these boards.

I just thought I would post showing you my recent project I completed and am personally rather proud of myself.

I will be posting more pics soon as I have an AquaC EV-120 on the way. I am upgrading from my Remora I had on my 75 Gallon as I felt that it was a bit undersized.

I used a 20 Long glass tank and Lucite for the baffles and Egg Crate to help keep Macro Algae where it needs to be.

Did you create the compartments by using acrylic held in place by silicone glue?

Yes I used DAP 100% Silicone and scuffed up the surface of the Acrylic. It sticks REALLY Good to the glass and ok to the Acrylic.

I used GENEROUS amounts of silicone.
