after the lighting upgrade... only lost 1 frag through the upgrade... I still have frags laying around in the sand bed but they will be cleared out by end of the month... yay!

Awesome. Always love your frag pics, but the whole tank shot takes the cake. Nice. I've got room if you need to let go some of those... :D

hehe.. maybe when I get back from vacation in March, I'll have a nice pack available... :)

What did you change your lights to/from??? I'm just changed my lights on my main display from 2x250w Hqi's to t5's... Just to see if I like the difference... I know I love lack of heat and I think the MH's were a bit too strong once I got everything setup, but we'll see... lol :D

I went from 250w SE w/ ghetto reflector to 250w DE w/ Phoenix bulb.. man, day and night difference.. :)

a friend made them for me.. :)
 
lol I love those Phoenix bulbs... Careful when adding though... They'll scorch a new frag that was under PC's... Like I said, I just changed away from them... More just to see the difference than anything else... Oh, and to cut down on my electricity bill... ;)

great.. thanks for the warning.. I've experience two morphs of orange palys (Sunshine & Pyro Envy) withering due to too much light... good thing I have back ups.. :)

I'm also glad to be using only 1 bulb so that should'nt be too much on the electric bill..

Thanks for sharing. You have a wonderful collection.

How long did it take for you to recognize the withering? Do they retract and stay closed, come out a little, or ... ?
