Hello all,
Just thought that I would share some of my good news. The Gods of the breeding world are finally starting to smile down on me!
Some recent good things in my breeding basement:
- I finally have managed to bring a bunch of pink skunk clownfish through meta (still about 200 without a mortality in 10 days)!
- My recent Ocellaris hatch (from a friend's reef tank) was a small hatch but I haven't lost more than 5, so it is going well (BTW Ocellaris are much easier than pink skunks)!
- My Maroons just laid their first batch eggs in almost a year (I moved them from one system to the new breeding rack system and they were not happy about the move). The batch looks to be fairly large!
- My recently acquired Ocellaris pair are adjusting very nicely. Last week the female was looking very plump in the abdoman and her ovipositor was protruding. No eggs were laid, but I think that they are starting to get in the routine, so hopefully eggs won't be too far down the road.
