Shark Dive in the Bahamas

It was scary while I was on the dive boat but after getting in the water it was exciting. I was diving not far from tiger beach we booked through stewarts cove can't remember who the boat captain was.

Great pics! So do they chum for the sharks or feed them? I would like to do a shark dive but I don't want to do one where food is involved.

stewart cove does the shark dives off of nassau. they do shark snorkels too.

No kidding... I'm going to Nassau March 5th-9th. Looks like I've got a dive trip in the works...

Haven't done the Stuart Cove's shark dive yet (hubby isn't having any of it), but they are a class-act operation. We went for a 2 tank reef dive and they were hands down the best I've done. They have an awesome setup (we saw at least seven dive boats tethered along their dock), very friendly and knowledgeable staff, fun and competent DMs, and have quite a variety of dives. There was one guy in our group who did the shark dive and he said it was a total rush.

Was there for Christmas 2003. Also did the Stuart Cove trip. Class act dive shop. The best vacation I've ever taken. Look forward to going again. Even the shark snorkle trip gets you pretty close. They lower chum box to the bottom, then you get in and watch what happens below you. Some like to come up and see what your doing. Kinda freaky at first, then you don't even think about what you are really doing.

stuart cove rocks!!!!! i use them everytime i dive the bahamas and yes the shark dive is a def must
