Shark Diving, a new-found respect.

Yes, I too did that dive (Stuart Cove) and while the music makes the video dramatic, it was not really so in real life. I was alone with the divemaster and we did two dives with the "food trained sharks" so I could get photographs. On the other hand I have been in the water many times with sharks and the only time it felt dramatic was with a group of seven silver tips who were not feeding trained.

Thank you for bashing my intentions. It was dramatic and unreal. Best thing ever. I can't wait to get back down there with the sharks.

that looked like a tonne of fun...great job on the video too...some really nice shots in there...

when i read the title i was kinda expecting someone to get bit...

I did the Stuart Coves shark feed dive in May, was AWESOME! would do it again in a heartbeat! We had a photographer named "Seb" that works for Stuart Coves, he was cool and nice to work with; took over 900+ photos of us during our 6 dives including video of the shark feed. All divers must experience the shark feed! Exhilarating! I'll post some pics!

I love going to Stuart's, at least 4 times a year. One time hurricane was coming in, a day away and they didnt cancel any trips so it was the 2 of us on the whole trip. Since we know people its FREE :)

I haven't been on the Stuart Cove shark dive, but did a shark dive in Roatan. Nothing better then 20+ Caribbean Reef sharks swimming around. Granted my wife really likes sharks and was actually chasing the sharks around. I think the scarest moment was when the 6' Moray came out of the ledge behind us to get his share of the food.

Great video - I thought it was a commercial promo from Stuart Cove's until I saw your name at the end!

Looks like a lot of fun - 300+ hours of diving and I've only seen sharks at the edge of visibility, heading away from me......

I don't care what anyone says !! That's dramatic and exhilarating. If you don't think so, you can always do it without the mesh suit and alone...lol !!

Thanks guys/gals! Up until this dive I had never seen a shark while diving. I would recommend it to everyone. You gain so much respect for these very misunderstood creatures it's incredible.
