shark that can fit in 150g?

It realy depends on the dimensions of the tank. The more surface area the better. You could possibly do a coral cat but it might be a little too small. I am sure some will disagree but thats just my oppinion.

I would imagine the signs of an unhappy shark would be if it looked cramped in the tank, try arrangeing the rock if any to cover minimal surface area. Like I said previously the coral cat is the smallest available shark.

Tank is 72 by 18 for base I think 24 high

Honestly I think its to narrow for a shark...I think even a small coral cat gets over 20 inches. Usually you want a tank where at minumum as wide as the shark or fish in that case...

What do you think guys?

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I would not put ANY shark in a tank smaller than 500-600 gallons.

Sharks grow very big (in case you didn't know) and a 6' tank with 18" of depth isn't going to cut it.

JMO, good luck.

Sorry to discourage you dude, but a 72x18 isn't going to work. If it was a 72x24 you could do it if you wanted to cramp the fish.

When you are about to buy one, really think about it man. You are taking this beautiful animal out of the ocean and cramming it in a tank. Even a large tank like 300 gallons is never going to match up to the wild. I agree with the above, big fish need big tanks. I know I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I did that.

I wouldn't do it if I were you. There might be a species of shark that I am not aware of, but I have never read of anyone keeping a shark long term in a tank that size. It seems like it would make for a sad existence for the animal.
